Hey ya'll. I got a free 1988 CRX Si engine but no tranny. All it came with was the block and head and so forth, everything but the ECU and tranny. I was wondering if it would fit into my 1988 Civic DX nicely, and if so, what extra or changed parts would need to come into play? I was told that I would need the pm6 ECU, but it couldn't be confirmed. If you could list the parts I need that would be appreciated. Also, it's a manual engine and my Civic is an Auto. I know I need to do a manual swap, and if you could tell me what I would need for that too, thanks!

the motor will bolt it, but you will have to convert to mpfi since yours if dpfi. you will need the pm6 but the zc or teg ecu will work also. zc is a pm7, teg is a pg7.
