or heres a better question. the build is a d16y8 with a 59300 cam. i want higher compression. what pistons should i get? and what will work with no problems? looking for around 11:1
 
I know you can use vitara for lower compression. Unsure about higher compression in the sohc engines. Never built one. Blew a handful up though. :) Try JE or CP, I'm sure they make a piston for your engine to fit multiple bore sizes.
 
theres a good seller of p29 pistons on ebay but i forgot the name of them the good ones that is, just wait for blanco lol
