ECU - at a loss

ive been searching hear all morning and have yet to find something. im looking for a way to chip my ecu to disable the knock sensor so the light will go out and the car can pass emissions. I dont know what ECU i have though another post says its a P2P or if the chipping is literally a chip thats installed or something else in the ecu.

if it is a p2p ecu you cant chip it just get your self a new or used knock sensor and call it a day

hey me again hey only post once for one problem OK i just read your other post what you need to do is get a knock sensor plug it in to the plug that should be hanging free underneith the intake manifold and zip tie it up to something on the motor or if you want to get into it a lot people have drilled and mounted them to the bracket for the altinator
either way the computer will read the sensor and the light will stay off when you reset your ecu
