To start off it was a P30 running b16a in my 94 cx hatch. I was going down the interstate at about 70mph and I saw a flash, looked about the same as you would see come from and arc wielder. So something grounded out? What could it have been. After opening the edc there is a small resister type piece up near the plug ins where it looks burnt.
