ecu interchange question

i have a 1991 crx si that had a broken window. ecu was under a few inches of water. i am going to the u pull it yard this weekend and i need to know what years and models of the civic i can pull an ecu from. what do i need to look for as far as transmission type or engine size of the junk car that will work in the 91 si five speed?
any help is greatly appreciated
 
Yank the wet ecu let it dry out for a while and it still might work.....

If you are doing a swap get the ecu after you swap the motor and generally the tranny will come with the motor.

IF I had that car... ...
Strip the hell out of it.... roll cage, one seat.
Dart 2.0L block, ITR Head, some 6spd tranny that tops out at like 200. BIG turbo ....
Make everything from carbon fibre or titianium.......

Really though any motor/tranny will fit... as far as ecu's I always use the correct one for the motor...
 
any ecu from the 88-91 civic/crx si will work. also the 88-89 integra pg7 will work also. i use that one on my a6 and it runs great, higher rev limit too
