I have a 5 speed manual ls vtec with a 37820-pr3-j50 ecu. I was looking into getting a new chip but it turns out i might have the ecu from an automatic trany. Is this correct? if so whats going on with my electronics and how should i go about getting a new chip and or ecu? I am looking for a chip that wont advance the timing too much because the one i have now advances it so much that even when i fully retarded distributor the motor still pings. Thanks in advance for any help.
