I'm finally doing my mpfi swap and I was wondering, what's the difference with the pm6 and pm8 ecu? I know one is from a d16a6 and ones from a d15b6, which one should I get or would it even mater? no need to buy one that I don't need.

if your going mpfi get the pm6..the differance is fuel maps..if the pm8 is dpfi it probably will not work

alright thanks, I was going to go pm6 but someone told me that pm8 would work, I just wanted some facts first

PM6 is for MPFI D16A6 engine from the 88-91 CRX/Civic Si and 90-91 Civic EX - the PM8 is for MPFI D15B6 engine from the 88-91 CRX HF - the PM8 will run the engine, but won't provide the proper fuel and ignition timing, since it is for an engine with a little more than half the horsepower
