i need help... i have a 94 accord . and the previus owner told me the he, replaced the altenator,
but when i tried to remove the battery the car' shut off. i just put another one and now when i remove the battery its stays on but the turn signals turns on , someone told me that could be the ecu, is that true?

you might have to explain a little better because your question really isn't very clear.

are you trying to remove the battery while the car is running??

yes jeff i tried while the engine was running, the only way i know to test the altenator, but if you or any one here can help i'll appreciate in advance ....and sorry about my writtng. is not the best.

if the only time you have problems is when the battery is out and the car is running and everything works fine other wise i wouldn't worry too much about it. the ecu controls the engine sensors, the lights and other stuff like that are controlled by relays and switches.
