Hey everyone,

Ive been thinking about swapping out my engine for a D16z6 as the D15 is getting very boring. I was told to come on this forum, which seems to look very good :cool:

Right where do I start, I have taken out the D15 and have aquired the D16. Ive been thinking I could just bolt in the D16 along with the esi loom and then just vtec the ecu. And then do the vtec wiring from the shocktower to the ecu..

But no, I have just realized that the ecu looks like obd0 :confused:

Its not straight forward as I thought it would be, what the easiest option around all this?

Any help would be appreciated guys.

Its a 1992, the ecu plugs dont look like obd1 though? Also the D15 engine only has 2 injectors dont it? Surely theres more to it?

Also if I put a obd1 d16z6 engine loom, I wont have to wire the vtec from solanoid to shocktower would I? I thought id have to do it from shocktower to ecu? The lsi isnt vtec at all....
 
No, its P04.

The plugs are nothing like obd1, its the same as obd0.

Its a lsi, d15. Its a uk car so I dont know what that compares to...
