hey guys, im from australia and from what i understand, we got diff car model names down here. i got an eg civic hatch vti model which has a sohc vtec engine in it. i wanted to chuck a b18c in there. couple of questions, would i need to change the wiring for the car considering its already vtec (sohc)? also, would the engine and gearbox be a direct fit? shift linkage? would ineed to change the engine mounts? how bout the axles? if so, would the vtir integras (b18c) axles n linkage fit in the civic? any info would be helpful. thanks.

Hello and welcome to the forum. All your questions are answered in the FAQ, and articles section. VTi = Si here.

yup, pretty much just use the vtir mounts, linkage, axles, and so forth.

all your wiring is 99% plug in. you will need to add a knock sensor wire, and IAB wires, assuming the Vtir is like our GSR, where the intake manifold has secondary butterflies on it.
