eg headlight bulbs

I drive in the rain a lot cause i live in washington and i was wondering what the brightest bulbs i can get for the stock headlights. i dont' want hids or projectors. Oh yeah, and if you have a picture of the box that would be great to. thanks!!!

the yellow doesnt relect off the rain/fog/snow/etc as much as regular white light, and MUCH less than blueish light, making it a hell of a lot easier to see (IMO they let you see a lot better in any type of weather)

I'd go with the Phillips WeatherVisions...while they don't look all 'JayDeeEmm, y0!!' and frosty white and such, they work...or whatever.

PIAA makes some bright yellow bulbs.

I have Silverstars and I can't see anything when it's raining. But in dry conditions, they're wonderful.

why dont u want hidz driving in the rain with hidz is NO problem. i didnt want to go w/ hidz cause i didnt wanna spend the money but it seem no mater what bulb i bought the would explode werent bright or were poorly made....honestly after buy piaa's spendin 60-80 bucks and not being statisified. i was very upset i thought all the money i have spent on bulbs if i would have just bought on set of hidz i would have been happy...i spent 400 on my hidz and im extremely happy

8000k is purple....you need are 5500-6000k to get that aqua white look...mine are 6000k

tyc clear housings is what i recomend....

WRONG

5000 = white
6000 = aqua
8000 = blue
12000 = purple

anything above 6500k is blue as hell. honestly anything 8000k or higher will be shades of dark blue to dark purple and not functional...your kinda just going for the look. the lumens will be higher with the 5500k to 6000k the higher the lumens the brighter the hidz are gonna be

word i got piaas and one just blew and im pissed and just like someone said abourt the silver stars you cant see dick in the rain or snow but when your on a dark road on a clear night nothing can hide from the light. with stock housings i would go with hids

the higher the lumens the brighter the hidz are gonna be

the brighter they will seem(out of houising). lumens are to measure the amount of light given off candle power is what is used to measure the intensity of the light at its most focused point(in the housing)

I use sylvania silver starts. there about 50 a set for the low or high beams. they make a white lite and there easier on the peoples eyes who are comming at you. thats my .02
