EG or EK

Hi Everyone,
I'm looking to get into honda, and cars in general as I am only fourteen.
I'm just wondering which model is a better choice in terms of having a first car?
EG or EK? and what engine would be a good (cheap) beginners engine.
I'm thinking B16-ish?

i prefer the EG... upgrade brakes and suspension first.. learn how to drive, then swap the motor

i agree 100% learn to drive. the car for either body is nice. i prefer the EK hatchbacks. so its all about preference in that department.

i have owned and like both, but i prefer the EK i have now over the 3 EG's i've had, it is just a nicer car all around IMO, the EG's are getting harder to find clean and unmolested, which is what I would get to start out if I were you. EK's though, are a little more expensive. It all depends on your preference really and budget.

Also, the B16 is a great engine, I've had 2 of them in 2 different cars and have loved both of them.
