Hi guys! As the title says, im in the middle of swaping my eg6(b16a2) engine into civic ej9(year1996). Everything was ok (we did the engine mounts and everything else needed,...) except the wiring. Can someone tell me what do i need for this "conversion"?
The eg6 was complete an running, so i have all the parts available. I used the search button but came empty.....
I come from Slovenia so please note that my english is not "perfect":D

    Thanks

    OBD1 B16A is an EG6 (usually JDM). B16A2 is a OBD2 USDM 99/00 Civic Si. Is your motor OBD2?

What engine/engine harness was in the car? A VTEC engine harness will make things easier.

My car is a D14A3 engine(EJ9, 75HP) non vtec harness. My swap engine is eg6(obd1 ecu).

There are a ton threads addressing the swap.

I would get a 96-98 D16Y8 engine harness. 99-2000 may work too but I'm unsure.

Since you're not in the states....you may find a engine harness that's OBD2 that is specific for the B16 and it would be a straight swap.

If you're using that OBD1 ECU...you'd also need a jumper harness to connect OBD2 engine harness to the OBD1 ECU
