Before anyone says anything about searching, i'm really just trying to get some straight answers to my specific questions regarding swapping a vtec in my car. now with that settled... I have a 92 Civic Lx with the D15B7 I just rebuilt the whole long block It's got a header on it, high flow cat, and full catback It is already hydro 5sp I really wanted to do a GSR swap, and i had the motor at one point, but it was going to cost too much to put back together. so what i've decided is to swap to Vtec, either just swapping the head or the whole block. What i need is input as to whether i should just put a vtec head on there, and which one, or if i should swap motors completely to a vtec, like a z6 or something. Thanks for the help guys. also, i really need some how to info on swapping to a vtec, like the wiring and what i need to make sure i have. refer me to threads or w/e, i just can't find anything useful. I've also bought an Si tranny. it was worth it, right? 100 bucks? too much?
