I bought a EGR block off plate awhile back and never installed it. What will it do for me?

yeah, I don't know alot about the whole egr deal, but if you have a turbo, the egr probly isn't working how it normally would anyway.

EGR moves exhaust gas back into the intake to be burned for emissions.

on my 4g 93 mirage, i had a 3g manifold that was not cast with the EGR on one of the runners. i also had to put a potentiometer and resistor at 12.5.... something to emulate the EGR temperature sensor.

no adverse affects, except a squeaky clean intake manifold and throttlebody :)

if you install it, you just wont be moving the exhaust gas back into the manifold.

    doooeeeet.
