EGT probe Location

    This is a H23 turbo manifold with an EGT gauge installed.... Whats wrong with this pic? I just wanted to know if any of you can spot it out. I have seen this done many of times on many different types of vehicles.

    Its on the 4th primay and it should be on the 3rd.

    that's actually the first :lol: but yes, 3rd is the hottest

    Well, according to autometer... They say you need to have the EGT probe located right before the turbo or right after on the downpipe on any turbo car. On N/A cars they say it goes on #1 cyl aprox 1.5-2" away from the head.

    3rd runner, 2 inches from the head.

    cyl #3 (that's: dizzy 4 3 2 1 camgears)
