electric ps pumps

I'm building my AWD civic and would like to use a electric power steering pump. What Hondas come with them. I'm trying to keep the whole car Honda only parts.

i don't believe any have. but there has got to be a universal kit for this. seems really easy to do.

googled it a bit and found that most folks that do any conversion are using the toyota mr-s pumps.

Yup. MR-S or MR-2. If you want Honda electric power steering, convert an S2000 rack. It'll cost you tons of $$$$$$$$$$$$ though.

yea ive seen the mr2 pumps used alot, i was just trying to keep it a honda only type of car.

Newer civics, the Fit, and the new-ish accords have electric power steering.

The fit might actually work for an EK. There should be enough width there, but the rack mounting and angles might be "off". Since you're doing an AWD EK, that shouldn't be a problem though.
