electrical problem most likley solved

i think i found the problem to all my electrical problems. it might be my grounds. like someone told me before. that i should check my grounds. well i moved my battery to the trunk and when i hooked it up my grounds from my engine fried. white smoke everywhere. well i was wondering if i crossed up my grounds if thats possible.

so does anyone have any ground suggestions or why the grounds fried?
