They make something that looks pretty cool. I wonder how it's defined as a car though, it looks like a hopped up two-seater Can-Am Spyder. my strengths - Elio Motors : Elio Motors
I used to see these things all over in the 70s. The CanAm spyder isn't new at all. Hell, even the actual T-Rex is 14 years old.
I like it, especially the price point. I've been watching their progress closely the last few months...
Niche market definitely. Cool concept. But in NJ, overpopulated with soccer mom driven SUVs, I'd get run over.
I can dig it. I probably wouldn't buy one, but it could be a fun alternative to a motorcycle. it will probably be illegal here anyway after the gov't gets through with it, even with its 5-star
Fun alternative to a motorcycle? wtf. It's a cool idea but there's nothing in common from that and a motorcycle, it's like saying a guitar is like a piano because they both make music.
I'm curious now since I've been looking at jobs about an hour away, and something like this would be nice to use for that commute. Is the MPG EPA estimated?
pretty sure the specs are for the most part manufacturer claims/estimates these are still in the pre production testing phase i dont see anything mentioning EPA testing (not that EPA numbers are generally all that accurate anyway)
I think its pretty sweet, maybe the company will get big enough to get aftermarket support, appears to be 4x100 ?
Guess you are missing the point of the car. Then again, given the chance, what car wouldn't you screw up.
