Right now I am running a Vortech 12:1 FMU on my D16Y8 with stock injectors. The motor has a T3 super60 on it. I was wondering about the Greddy Emanage ENGINE CONTROL UNIT MANAGER has anyone used this before? How well it does or does not perform. If I were to get it what other components would I need to purchase with it. Thanks in advance for any help.

emanage is basically an overglorified VAFC.

i would just buy a hodnata. its the same price

    emanage - like 450-ish
    hondata s200 -295 +200 for boost option

    both require dyno time anyway.

i don't understand why people won't make th emove to it. its really not that much more expensive

Come on now, B. From GReddy's site, talking about what's possible once you use the Support Tool software in conjunction with the basic unit:

It's an overgloridied VAFC if you're only using the basic unit. Once you start using their accessories and their Support Tool software, you've got loads more options.

True, but if you can get it for less than retail *coughcoughmyforsalethread*, it become much more affordable. The optional accessories don't cost too much, and actually offer more tuning options than a Hondata does.

Alright, maybe not more, but different. And definitely comparable.

The full EManage features are listed above.

    Hondata:

    Speed limiter removed (if applicable).
    Tunable fuel and ignition tables.
Expanded fuel & ignition tables for boost.
Expanded rpm fuel & ignition tables.
    A/C cutout.
    Shift light.
    VTEC control.
    Adjustable rev limiter.
    Launch control.
    Full throttle shift.
    Nitrous Control
    Datalogging with HondaLogger software.
    Datalogging with Palmlog software
    ROM Editor tuning software.

the thing is 16x16 of the emanage ignition tables is wack.

the stock honda ecu has 2 ignition and two fuel (for vtec motors anyway)

    factory, the tables are 20x10

emanage goes 16x16. so, theres actually less fuel tables and only a couple more ignition tables.

the hondata ecu has 24x 16, which makes the daily driving, part throttle aspect of driving it a much better unit, and has more increments for fuel tuning and a much higher top end

E-manage is a hack/piggyback plain and simple. Uberdata/Hondata/Crome all use chipped honda ECUs. If your a DIY person or have friends that can help you, chipping your own ECU and using a free ROM editor is the way to go. If your not a DIY person then just get Hondata and pay somebody to do it all, but it will cost you.
