engine bogging

    Ok i have a 96 sol si and when i go to start it the engine acts like it isnt getting enough fuel but its fine after that. I was thinkin it was just the fuel filter so i was gonna check it but i don't know where it is located. So any help would be appriciated. thanks guys

    the fuel filter should be attached to your firewall. follow the fuel line back from fuel rail and you should see it. it's black.

    i believe you have three size 10mm bolts holding the filter to the firewall.
    you need a size 12mm socket to remove the top and to disconnect the bottom you need a 12mm open-end wrench to take it off.

    that was my old intake i had on the D16.
    it was a painted Matrix intake pipe.

    don't be jealous, i know you want one. :p
