I have a 94 civic hatch cx with an obd1 gsr swap installed. When I first started the engine the check engine light was on. I checked the code, and I was getting 41. I wired up my o2 sensor and now the light is off. However, when I try to check codes, 41 still appears. Is that just in memory? Because my check engine light stays off now. Is there a way to erase that?

Thanks!

hmm., disconnecting battery might do it, if it's not coming on when driving then you should be fine, plus the motor will run in limp mode if there are any codes

clear the codes on the ECU by pulling the ECU (PGM-FI) 15A fuse under the hood for 30 seconds, or you may also disconnect the negative terminal on the battery for 30 seconds.
