Engine coolant temp cel off and on, off and on

when i get into my car and start it there is no cel but after driving to about where the temp is at normal, the cel comes on and its the ect. after i shut the car off its like it restarts. please help.

is your coolant full or low?
and is the censor good?

did you pull the CEL already?

the coolant is full and as far as i know the sensor is good. yeah, i pulled the cel and it was 6 which is ect. appreciate the help

could the code be coming on if i don't have the right wires going into the sensor for the cooling fan? and what are the color of the wires that go to that sensor?

also it still engages into v-tec

so you have both codes 6 AND 17?

time for you to do some testing of the electrical components in questions...

no idea on what colors the wires are

get a helms manual... it will have color coded wire diagrams and instructions on how to test your possibly faulty sensors...
