Engine light or dummie light

I have built a mini me and i get a tdc engine light all the time ive tried thousands of times to adjust it ( timing light , moving timing belt) i my friends dads a garage hook a snap-on computer up to it and the same code? they thought i needed a new distributor ?
any suggestions

if you are getting a code for the TDC sensor, then adjusting the timing belt or setting the timing wont do you any good. its the sensor inside the distributor. provided you wired it up correctly you may very well have to replace the distributor.

I know its wired right from diagrahams i got from this site and what people told me, i don't get the code till my car warms up though i think i need a new distributor i guess>
