I have a Honda civic ex with a d16z6 engine swap and us running on a p05 ecu. when I accelerate with 1/4 to 3/4 of throttle it runs fine up until I get to 3000 - 3500rpm at which point it ignition cuts and spits and sputters and lunges forward and has zero throttle response. it also dose the exact same thing when I go full throttle. I changed the dizzy and plugs and wires. I did ignition timing and also changed the exhaust system and deleted the cat and resignator.

Is the check engine light on? And you also double posted this thread, also not running the correct ecu I believe you need a p28 or p06, welcome to hondaswap

Limp Mode. Run the correct computer/basemap.
