So I just recently bought a 2004 honda accord ex 4c 5sp with 141000 miles. Just a few days ago the car sputtered in 2 gear at about 2700 rpm and CEL came on, then the car wouldn't come back on after coming back to it. But the battery is New and charged. SO we pulled the code which was p0685, then we started looking at grounds and relays but so far nothing has seemed to fix the problem and yesterday it was pretty hot out and the car started fine and no rpm issues and no CEL. But today it's mildly cold and it's having the same problem but it dose start so that problem went away for now anyway.
