engine swap in a 90 LS

hello

my friend has an acura ls 90 with the B18A1 engine and he run since a couple of month on 3 cylinder only

Now hes not sure if its a valve leak or engine prob (ring?) and we wonder if we can easily swap a B18B into this car,..tranny ect..is this an easy task??

Otherwise we look at a head to repair this but cant find those easily in canada

if someone has one for sale or any tips

yea a b18b would bolt right up but the engine harness plugs would be diff. so you would have to modify them for obd1. you would also need a obd1 dizzy too since your stock ecu is obd0, but its a strait forward swap besides those two things

You won't be able to use the B18B transmission. It has a hydraulic operated clutch and yours uses a cable. The engine will work if you are willing to figure out the OBD version mess.
