Engine Transmission

Can an H22A Engine work with the b16 cable transmission? also does the b16 tranny use the same tranny mount? i was told this combo would work best for drag racing.

b series and h series are not the same. B and D interchange a lot. H and F interchange a lot. Other combinations would not be advisable.

i thought they made an adapter plate or this? like if you swaped in a h22 you could still use b series tranny? could be wrong but i thought i read about this somewhere?
