I just helped a friend put a J-spec D15 SOHC VTech motor into his 90 CRX HF. We Were told it was direct bolt in, but the wiring harness was different. We got the ECU for the new motor, but the plugs are different. Every thing else pluged in. The distributer plug ins were different, so we changed the plugs over to the ones from the old one. It had one wire differnt, but it was suppost to do the same thing occording the diagram. We new the VTech wouldn't work but to get the car running we just used the ECU from his original D15B6. It should at least start and run shouldnt it? At this point we are not getting any fire at the plugs. What should we do, other than get an exact harness, or comepletely wire the new ECU. Anything would help greatly.
