Engine wont start!!

Hey guys i just came back from a 3 weeks trip and i go to start my car and it wont start, it will turn and turn but it wont fire up. The spark plug cables were off and the valve cover was covered with a towel. The battery was also unpluged. Now i get spark, and i get fuel. The battery sparked when i put it on but i checked all fuses and everything is good. What do you think it could be?

did you try starting the acr with the gas pedal to the floor?

I just went outside and tried it, same thing happens. Doesn't start up. Thanks though. Any others suggestions guys?

not sure, try pushing it and then popping the clutch to make it start..thats just a solution to maybe get it started.


is the starter clicking?

The car is actually automatic, good idea though ) Any other ideas are welcomed as i'd hate to pay someone to fix it.
