lsd=limited slip differential..makes it soo when accelerating,cornering,both the tires have equal power...makes it soo when doing a burnout both tires spin equally,,basically helps with traction..
and just the gsr in your car with intake,exhaust,header will pull alot harder than what your at now..


thats perfectly fine with me lol now that i think about it lol im not tryin to compete in nascar lmfao. i just wanna get up quicker ISO HARD VIAGRA. lol i like the sound of a b18c with headers intake exhaust. cheaper as well. should i go with the extra 350 and get the lsd tranny or keep it hydraulic
 
......An lsd tranny is still hydraulic it just has a limited slip differential instead of a stock differential. Do you really want to spend $350 for the better traction?

And yea the b18c will pull much harder than what you got right now you definitely might want to try that before you go and turbocharge.

reevear or anyone else, I am building a b18b1 obd1(already in the car) with turbo. I am using the greddy kit with a fmic. I have an aem fuel rail ,330 injectors b&m fuel pressure regulator with vison 6 bolt adjustable cam gears with gates racing turbo belts(all of them). I have a -6an fuel line from the filter to the rail, msd extermal blaster ss coil and msd dizzy cap what else can i do to my car to get the most out of the power? Yes, i can do the work myself with no issues( i did all the work so far myself). I just want it reliable but fast I have the German autobahns to drive on so speed limits are not an issue. No, I don't want to hit 170, just fast enough to have fun. I know the tranny is weak and the clutch needs upgraded but not sure which one(clutch) to use. I also am having my intake manifold ported and polished to match the throttle body(68mm). Oh and yes I have a true 3 inch cat back exhaust, I have the thermal research turbo one, stock cat for now.

I also did the suspession right. skunk2 PRO SERIES PLUS front camber kit, Energy Suspension Bushing Kit, ksport lower control arms, Ksport Rear Toe Kit so far. I will buy my full coilovers and braces this week just not sure which ones I want.

Now, when I was building Hondas, I did ask questions, BUT I did the research myself,
I asked questions for repair issues or something I was stuck on. I really didn't know all that much when I started but I learned a lot and now I'd consider myself knowledgeable. Sure I wasn't building anything crazy, but I definitely have a good idea of what I'm doing now.

I started at square one just like everyone else. The difference between me and people like you is that I never once asked to be spoon fed my information. I was taught at a young age that the best answer to a question is "look it up for yourself". I ask questions and ask to be pointed in the correct direction, but at no point have I ever asked any person to do my research for me. Don't blame your laziness, lack of initiative, and flat out low intelligence on anyone other than yourself...and possible the gene pool that spawned you. Remember, you can teach ignorant but you just can't fix stupid.



lol. i have looked and looked. ive been through so many different websites read so many different specs. modacar.com, hmotorsonline.com, the jdm sites, ebay, google. its not that its my laziness its the fact that if i do find something how do i know if its compatiable with this or with that. before making this thread i thought of it as if i could go faster then i would be good. listening to what everyones saying and reading everyones posts its the total opposite. i mean how am i suppose to know that a b18b1 can use a b16a head? or how do i know what a good ratio or is or cam gearing or cam shaft?
 
I am also were reevear is. I have read alot, have the build books been on 10 different sites. the best answer is from the people who have the parts to tell how well they work or do not work. Thru sites like this I found out that ssautochrome.com was crap parts and about there alter names on ebay. Why rip the noob and make them steer away from sites like these. They will learn with time as all of us have. Hell, I am a 4x4, motorcycle, DSM guy and military mechanic who loves car but needs advice on hondas also. Just give help or steer them in the right direction and don't tear them a new one. Hell, why even make the rude comment just don't post if you do not have an awnser to help them.

Blanco, why are you so bitter? With all your knowledge you should be putting it to good use. I had my beef's with you and your theories of engine building, but damn bro lighten up a bit.

As far as going 170mph on the street (which is dangerous), I only did it for money. Do you know how much c-12 race gas costs and how fast it burns at those speeds? Not something ppl do for "good times". It's about making money. There will be ass clowns everywhere you go in this world that street race their 15 second sleds. If you notice, most of the big money runs on the street only consist of a handful of people in a secluded area, not a well known area for street racing. Me personally, I dont street race anymore. I keep it at the track but sometimes when the money is there and you want it, you have to go get it whether its locked up legit at a track or if its on the street.
 
the big point here, to reevear, is that if you only have ONE goal for driving you have totally lost out on the driving experience. like anyone will say to any new enthusiast, start small and try to FUCKING FEEL how your car changes with with every minor improvement. this goes for everyone after big dick numbers.

This is something I feel strongly about and I see no need to calm down. Every responsible Honda owner who just so happens to modify their car is treated like shit because of idiots who feel the need to play John Force on the streets. Then there's the fact that kids kill themselves doing stupid shit like this on a very regular basis. I won't help someone kill themselves or someone else.

I only help people who are willing to help themselves and don't act like total morons. I actually had given this person a fair amount of help until this point. The problem is that he doesn't want to learn. He just wants someone to tell him what do to so he can uber-cool pwning all the people who laugh at him for being the fucktard that he is.

And I also care enough to make sure that accurate information is given out, as do all of the knowledgeable people here. HondaSwap.com prided itself on that long before I joined.

None of this has anything to do with being bitter, although you at least picked a new reason for me to not have to be nice to everyone I meet. See, that's the thing right there. I don't feel the need to be a people pleaser who's nice to everyone. ;)
you helped me out alot and you werent soo nice about it....but looking back..i see why..i wasnt doing all the research i shouldve..and i thank you for pointing me in the right direction..in my book..blanco is probably the most knowleadgable person on this site...becuase whatever he doesnt know he will look up and tell you to look it up as well

point taken well put. but i know my limits i wouldnt do something i know i wouldnt have control over as in giong 170 down the highway lmfao! if it was a straight strip for like 10 mins i might try but other then that i know what i can and cant handle :p none the less i wouldnt kill myself lolz.
