Exhaust swap 99 DX/HB to 98 B18C5

So that thing won't bolt up from a b18c5 with ITR header to my stock exhaust? Sending me dementions won't help...I know very little about what I'm getting into.

What should I do?

go to a muffler shop, and get a 2.25 exhaust made, with a cat built in.


buying a 'bolt in' cat that won't fit is pointless, and you should have an exhaust bigger than an inch and a half anyways.



unless, like i said, the cat is about a millimeter in length.

also, if you try to bolt a cat up to your stock exhaust on a dx, this is what youre gonna get:

Yeah, that is a joke! So what cat back could I get for that swap? What will fit? B18c5 in a 99 dx...

go to a muffler shop and get them to make you one. get like a universal apex'i muffler or somethin. most companies make universal mufflers. i think inlinefour.com is having a sale on skunk2 universal mufflers right now.


but get yourself a universal, go to a muffler shop, and have them make you a 2.25 exhaust with a cat. shouldn't be more than $150. mine was $115 with 2.5" exhaust, with an 18'' resonator and no cat.....texas rules.
