exhaust w/ swap question

my plan is to get a b18c gsr, shortly after i wanna get a full exhaust system. i have plans to slap a turbo on this sucker so if i get a catback exhaust am i able to get a downpipe and be ok? i don't want to have to buy another exhaust

I know that an all motor exhaust is much different than a turbo exhaust. A turbo exhaust you will want 3 inch diameter, which will loose you power with an all motor setup.

keep the stock exhaust until you turbo the thing.. no sense in buying 2 exhausts..

wouldn't i be able to just get a catback exhaust, then add a downpipe for when i get a turbo in the future? or is it just way more effective to get a turbo back when i get a turbo?
