    Why not? I live near a small airfield with tons of ultralights. I think most are between 10-15k. None have ever crashed into my house. That's a bit like saying you wouldn't want a bunch of $3000 cars driving around.
    When it comes to airspace, I don't think people realize how unlikely midair collisions are. There's a lot more space up there than on the roads and a lot less aircraft than cars.
