Hey dudes,

Just got my greasy paws on a mint nick F20A, and I was wondering....

Ive seen the F22/H23 hybrid swaps done, and want to know what i need and is it worth it, to try a H22 head on the F20A block. Would i need higher Comp. piston heads etc to get a decent motor out of it? Is it ultimately worth doing?

Comments....

I've never seen it done, but i've never even seen an f20A until a minute ago.
I'd say if it will fit, or you can make it fit, to do it.
It'd be something new and different... and might even cost alot more than it's worth!
What are high compression piston heads?

isnt the f20a the accord euro-R engine? why touch it at all?

Nah your thinking of the F20B, the 2 litre destroked H22, used in the JDM Accord SIR-T and SIR. The Accord R uses a H22.

The F20B is the engine I'm after anyways, just thought I might have a play about with this F20A (from an Accord, Ascot) when I get the F20B installed.
