i am in the middle of swapping my fuxored stock F22A for a F20A 2.0 SOHC, and i have run into some possible obstacles. The dealer i bought it from said i should use the F22A's stock exhaust and intake manifolds, but does that mean the entire fuel injection system as well? will the 2.0L engine run right using the 2.2L fuel injection and ecu? wouldn't it be injecting more fuel and air than the engine can use?
also, the F20A uses an internal coil, but the F22A and the harness from it uses the external coil. i have read in one thread that you can splice wires together on the H22/23 in the same situation, or use the external coil from the original engine. which is the better solution?
i need to know immediately, because whatever i do, it has to be done tomorrow!
