Hey guys, new to the site just wanted to say whats up

I was looking for information and couldnt find it
    I had a few questions regarding a F22 to an H22a swap.

    1. How easy is the swap, this will be my first and i dont want to get in over my head

    2. What parts if any can be transfered over from the f series to the h22a

    3. Is the f22 an OBD 1 or 2, and the h22a 1 or 2. How hard would a 1 to 2 conversion be.

    4. Ive seen plenty of H23-H22 guides, is the F22 a similar swap.

    5. If my prelude was pre-wired for vtec (got a 1995 S) where would it be

I am doing the same exact swap in my '93 accord. Both engines are obd 1. All that you need to do is of course buy the engine, if it was prewired go buy a haynes repair manual if you havent already done so and look at the wiring schematic. Look for the vtec soleniod, vtec pressure switch, knock sensor, and oil pressure switch. I had to buy a p13 ecu and grab the required wires from the h22 wire harness. The engine will drop right in. A friend and I alone took the engine out using a cherry picker, and the next day 2 friends and I put the h22 into the car in about 2 hours. The only thing that you will need to transfer over depending on whether ur h22 is jdm or not will be the fuel rail. JDM = right hand drive, fuel filter is on the left and so on and so forth. Also the jdm h22's dizzy is an internal coil were as the usdm h22's dizzy is external, there is a simple wire cut that will solve that issue, i dont remember wat wires they were but if you look around on the forums you will find it. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Have a question.. I have a 92 prelude with the f22. Want to do a h22 swap. How do i modify to run the external coil on the distributor? Also any other tips on issues that i will run into? I know i will need to modify the exhaust down pipe, change over fuel rails, wire for v-tec, i've also heard of modifying the auto tensioner on the timing belt. Any thoughts? Thanks.
