i'm pretty new to the whole honda game, i just bought a 96 prelude that's pretty much all show no go so i was thinking about doing an engine swap. i was wondering if it is even legal in CT to take a h22a and drop it into the S model and how well it would work.

Thanks for your help

Well if its of the same year I see no reason why not, tho im not quite fimilar with the CT laws. There are alot of write ups for the F22 - H22 swap. I can tell you its fairly strait forward and simple to do with the amount of right ups. The most basic components you need is, Motor, Trans, ECU and you will need to re due the wiring harness a little bit, think its the o2 wire thats needs to be flipped around... anywayz check out the writeups

Should be legal. You'd be installing an engine that was available in the same chassis in the same year, so I don't think there should be any issues...
