is the F22a1 GOOD ENGINE to swap into a 93 delsol whould it pull my car as good as a b16 and can you do any good mods on it I know its not a vtec but could you put a vtec head on it or should I buy a diff engine some input would help becasue I can get the F22A1 engine for 400 dollars.

It's got alot of torque compared to the B-series engines, but that's about all it's got going for it. It'll be expensive to swap, it doesn't have much potential except to boost it, it's single cam, and a VTEC head swap is worthless.

If you really want a big block, get an H-series. If not, go with a B-series.

Only if you tear it apart, rebuild the block and valvetrain, and then turbo it.

i dont see the point of an f22 in a del sol. if your gonna go 2.2 liters anyways, spend the extra money and go h22. if not a b16 is another way to go, perhaps ls/vtec?
