Alright so my friend blew his f22b2 (non-vtec) in his 96' accord. He got an awsome deal on a f22b1 (v-tec) also out of a 96' accord. I just want to know what all is going to be involved in this conversion. We have the engine harness and everything out of the old car. Please give some info. Thanks!!!
 
Yeah but you gotta wire in the v-tec don't you? I've never done that. I actually just got my first v-tec honda (08 civic si sedan)
 
you will have to run a wire for vtec if you use the non vtec harness but if you have both cars like you said just take the harness and all from the ex and then its a plug and play
 
I'm not sure if he has the full harness or not. Ill check it tommorrow and keep ya updated. Thanks for info!!!!!!!:happydance:
 
all you will need is the engine harness down to the ecu but even if he doesnt no big deal this is a super easy swap
