Background:
95 Acccord EX Sedan (Auto)
Running JDM H22A (Auto) w/ P0F ECU (SIR ECU)
Injen Cold Air Intake
DC Sports Header
Magnaflow Catalytic Converter
Custom 2.5 Exhaust w/ Vibrant Muffler
VAFC-II (all settings at zero)
(Note: This is my 2nd Engine. First one ran like shit and extremely lean then died)
Emissions Problem:
First Test:
All numbers are good/Passed except for NOx which is almost double the limit.
NOx 15mph @ 2137 (limit 1636)
NOx 25mph @ 2289 (limit 1591)
So went ahead and cleaned my EGR Ports and Valve which were clogged big time.
Re-test:
NOx 15mph @ 3111 (limit 1636)
NOx 25mph @ 3533 (limit 1591)
WTF? The numbers got worse?
Any ideas or suggestions? I purchased the Magnaflow Cat a few years ago but could it have gotten bad from the first bad H22? I have no CEL lights after the EGR cleaning. I NEED HELP PLEASE. Getting ready to sell my car if I can't figure this out.
