:werd: .
they had a street legal vette that did 0-60 in 1.9 sec  .
and yeah... that escalade is sick, and it only carries a base price of $124,500.

It's an Escalade

Nothing but an Avalanche you paid too much for :)

It's like the Storm in SCC last month. I don't care how fast it is, I don't care how much you spent. It is still a Storm.

*puts on Nomex suit :)

id take the X5 lemans over that thing any day

im not a fan of the escalade... its just huge and stupid looking (IMO)

:werd:

I thought I would be the only one... :D

Oh yes, too bad they are different.. similar look, but EXT has different front end, better interior, AWD, little storage containers at the top of the bedsides and various other things.

As an owner (well my dad does) of a EXT, they ride a lot better then an Avalanch. They get shitty gas mileage, i got a hole 11 on my way to Tulsa the other day, but when you want luxory, you dont care about that kind of stuff.

Oh well, most of the ppl on this site wouldn't be happy even if they were handed the key to a Mcleararn (sp?) f1, they'd still bitch about it in some way.

True.

The Avalance/EXT is just not my style of car.

Does the EXT use the plastic body panels as well?

No, it doesn't use the plastic shit on the side.

the avalanch and EXT are both based on the tahoe platform... they both have the same 5.3 285hp base engine... they both have the little storage boxes your talking about... the EXT does have a little more luxury trim (hell its a cadillac)

i just dont like huge vehicles
if i was going to get a SUV it would be about the size of a pathfinder
and i think the escalade front end looks like ass
just not my style i guess

That is the older Escalade, ever since the change on 02, its been a 6.0, 345hp. The older ones, like 2literEG's, have 5.3's and i think even 1 yr with the 5.7 TBI motor.
