So the others need a turbo to get that fast? ok so the STi is the fastest four banger but it needs a turbo to do it. S2k fastest NA 4 banger? what if they all had turbos??? which has the most potential from the factory?

Try to SC the S2000. You won't get much power out of it because it already has a what? 11.0:1 compression ratio.

The S2000 has high enough compression one could be mistaken for thinking it had a turbo or supercharger.

Fastest NA 6 banger is probably with the Porsche Boxster or the Nissan 350Z.

Edit: don't whine about "but they have turbo's"

He asked waht the fastest four banger was, not what the fastest NA 4 banger, etc. If they come from the factory w/ a turbo then don't cry foul because Honda is built for economy with style.

The Boxster has a flat 6 in it, the engine is called a Boxer engine. so they called it the Boxster

It's not all about the engine, remember EVO 8's and Sti's are AWD, i think being able to launch at 6000rpm+ and still get traction will help just a tad bit

porsche uses boxter engines exclusively i think except the new Carerra GT with a V10... anyway, its the type of engine like inline, v, rotary, etc.. the boxter engines are engines in which the pistons are laying flat.. they go up and down at a 180 degree.. basically an inline but with a horizontal plane configuration.
