yeah, it's re-connected me with a lot of old highschool pals, college pals, random hookups, etc etc. i think a LOT of people over use it.... i just lurk mostly... maybe post 1 or 2 things a day on it tops

I do not, I only use AIM actually. I noticed my ICQ and MSN the other day. Guess that shows how long I've been a member here.. lol

Wow, I remember the days of ICQ. I wish I could remember my ICQ# / password so I could see my contact list from like 10 years ago, but I don't remember any of the info I used... just brings back memories.

Yep it was during the time where there was only AOL and AIM had just been released.

AIM didn't yet have the capability to transfer files, or any of the other features it can do now.

ICQ was advanced for its time.. you could send people offline messages (and they would get it when they signed on), transfer any file type, send someone an email through their contact... it was for the geeks I guess

That and mIRC... do people still use that?
