I had ICQ back in the day even though no one I knew even had a computer yet. I was 9 when I built my first machine, about 12 when I got online and I think most of my friends started getting online when I was about 16. So I was always moving onto the next latest and greatest thing with no one to talk to about it its still that way for the most part haha.

I could have had a 4 or 5 digit ICQ number like my friends, but I held off because I thought this whole 'instant messaging' thing would never get off the ground.
