Square Enix has a monopoly on everybody's mind who ever played FFVII. Look at all the spinnoff games that are being based of characters from the original game.

FFVII was the worst game in the numerical franchise. This just shows how retarded the consumer is

    FF started it
    FFIV revolutionized it
    FFVI popularized non liner RPG's
FFVII was the first RPG for PlayStation

    fuck that shit

In my opinion (as one who has played ALL of the FF series) VI was the best. VII was the well known one... I just finished III (for the DS) and it was different. I still prefer XII due to its new style... more open ended... you really feel like the character. what you see is what you see. instead of 'random' event battles.
