Felpro Rear Main Seal.

Anyone ever used a rear main seal by Felpro? They sell it at autozone and other auto parts stores. I know I should use OEM, but I had one laying around in new condition.

So use it snd if it leaks either you installed it wrong or you should have use an OEMer

I know a few engine builders that only use felpro gaskets. I have used a felpro oil pan gasket and have had no issues.

I would not use it for such a major gasket. Minor stuff is fine.. Valve covers, etc.. But I would highly recommend OEM for a rear main.

werd. the extra few bucks you spend on oem is well worth your time considering the time it takes to replace the seal.
