Filling transmission

    I am about to fill up my tranny with honda mtf and i read online that you can fill it via the VSS hole or the plug under the starter. I was just wondering which is correct? Thanks guys!

    I did it with a long skinny funnel through the VSS hole.

    How would you know when it is full if you fill it through the VSS hole?

    When you put the 2 quarts in, atleast thats hondas specs.

    can't you use the reverse light switch sensor hole also?
    anyone know what i'm talking about?

    uh, never did it that way...
    it would probably work but why not just do it the right way?

    my tranny casing had a crack around the fill hole due to ups dropping the box it came in so i had to lace it up with JB Weld and i can't remove the plug anymore
