Hi ,
i have EDM Ek4 98 Civic HB B16A2 with S4C no lsd tranny .
it has 4.266 final ratio. and 1-3.23 , 2-2.105 , 3-1.458 , 4-1.107 , 5- 0.878

i want to change my final ratio to 4.40 .
i want to learn if USDM 99-00 Civic Si 's final dirven gear and counter shaft fits to my tranny ?

i think that it will fit but i must know if it is exactly fits. i have installed 1 year ago 4.785 kit from jhpusa.
i know that this 4.785 kit fits to 99-00 civic si , so civic si ' s final driven gear and countershaft will fit.

Any opinions ?

all should fit

you didn't have to replace your differential for the 4.7 kit? the 4.7 kit is for typer/gsr diffs, which are physically larger than the b16/b18a/b diffs. all b16 tranny and b18a/b tranny final drives are interchangeable since their diffs are the same size.

before i have installed JDM integra Type R 4.785 final drive set.
i change it 1 st gear , countershaft, distance collars, needle bearings and final dirven gear.
i now that usdm integra's counter shaft diameter is bigger then the jdm's, civics

Before i return to my stock 4.266 final drive i used JDM integra Type R 4.785 final drive set. here is a link that i bought it from :
4.785

When we install it , only the nut holes of the final gear dont match with my stock differential. but we adjust it some little work.

i see... ok... how did that work out? i dont think i've heard of anyone doing it that way.
