Maybe I missed it, but where is the intercooler going to be? In the cabin?

No, that's not what I'm suggesting lol.

I'm saying rotate the turbo 180 on the turbine inlet V-band, which yes with the compressor where it currently is, would point down. What I'm saying is to ALSO rotate the compressor housing 180 degrees around the impeller so that the compressor outlet points up again.

Most of these turbos, it's pretty easy to clock the compressor housing to point the outlet wherever you want. But like I said, it probably doesn't matter, and it'll work either way. I would have just done it my way to make it easier to get cold air into the turbo.

To answer both of your questions...

Well that explains my confusion. Every other pic you posted had the compressor outlet pointed up so I thought that's how you were trying to orient it.

Once the seat was mocked up, we realized that my tiny little T-Rex arms weren't going to be able to reach the shifter when belted in - partially because tiny arms, partially because seat so far back. No worries, it's only metal!

are you moving the steering wheel back too? seems that easier accomplished with a spacer or something though, right?

Someone didn't notice that the steering wheel position IS already drastically changed... #unobservantian :D

Also, IDK why every time I try and post photos with my phone they wind up upside down on here. Nowhere else, only when I upload 'em from my phone to this forum :shrug2:

According to the rule book it's still a production car! Still has the unibody, still has original vehicle type suspension, still has stock suspension mounting points....

So it's pretty much stock!
